Mentoro ("Mentoro", "we", "us", or "our") operates an online learning platform that connects students with instructors offering video-based courses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Mentoro, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

• Account information — name, email address, password (stored in encrypted form), profile photo, and role (student or instructor).
• Payment information — when you purchase a course, payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. Mentoro does not store your full card or bank account numbers.
• Usage data — course progress, quiz results, certificates earned, reviews, and general interaction with the platform, used to operate and improve the service.
• Instructor content — for instructors, this includes uploaded videos, course materials, and payout details needed to process earnings.

• To process payments and instructor payouts.
• To communicate with you about your account, orders, and platform updates.

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted password storage and secure data transmission — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account and course data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

You can access and update most of your account information directly from your profile settings. You may also contact us to request a copy of your data, or to request that your account and associated personal information be deleted, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.

Mentoro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Mentoro after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
